LIONS FOUNDATION OF ARIZONA

The Lions Foundation of Arizona is a nonprofit organization firmly committed to the philosophy that all individuals with disabilities are entitled to equal opportunities for achieving self-fulfillment and independence as well as acceptance and full participation in the community.  We believe all individuals should have the opportunity of attaining their goals and we pledge our full and continuing support towards those ends.

Our mission is to support the efforts of Lions Clubs and partners in serving communities, giving hope and impacting their lives through humanitarian service projects.

To empower the Lions of Arizona by supporting and enhancing their ability to meet community and humanitarian needs.

We provide HUD section 8 elderly 36 units in Tucson called La Casa de Los Leones.

In October of 2018, the Lions Foundation of Arizona completes a land exchange securing the 49.5 acres in Pintop. Leaving a legacy for the Lions of Arizona. This journey took over 20 years and 4.5 million dollars to complete. Currently Lions Camp Tatiyee resides there.

Lions have supported Canine Companions since its founding in 1975. The Lions Project for Canine Companions (LPCC), a Lions Foundation, was formed in 1983 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization creating awareness and providing support for Canine Companions, a non-profit organization that provides expertly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.

LPCC is comprised of an all-volunteer Board of Directors, Area Directors and Trustees who devote their time in making Lions all over the United States aware of this magnificent program. Our support has grown with Lions Clubs from California to Maine. Currently Lions Clubs and individual Lions in 26 states support the program. Our goal is to have Lions Clubs in every state participate in this worthwhile program that provides exceptional dogs for exceptional people. More Dogs: https://canine.org/service-dogs/our-dogs/
